Wirecard boss's lawyer calls allegations 'absurd' in fraud trial

The former Wirecard CEO Markus Braun began his defence in Germany’s biggest post-war fraud trial, as his lawyer dismissed allegations of wrongdoing at the defunct payments company as “absurd” and prejudiced.
